Christmas 2015

Merry Christmas & happy holidays!  I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
This year I changed things a little bit .  Of course you know that was to be expected.
This year I decided to use snow drifts in the living room.  I put them on all the shelves.  I hung them with the wall putty.  Seems to work unless you bump into them. Then they will fall. It was a purchase made last year at the end of the season .  I bought several of them on clearance. I only paid 50 cents a package. So I guess it was a good use of them. Brian didn't much care for them. I don't know that I will use them again next year.
This year in the kitchen I had to lose my big tree. I went back to the smaller ones. Kind of disappointing but I will live. Sniff... I had to move my big tree from the kitchen to the basement. We bought new furniture in the basement so my tree no longer fit. That is why my Christmas tree from kitchen had to be moved. Sniff... I decided not to write a recipe on the wall this year. Instead I added trees and wrote twas the night before Christmas. Hey the way I see it if I can't have a large tree in the kitchen. I will find a way to put as many small trees in there that I can. I think it looks alright. Maybe this year after Christmas I will find another tall skinny tree for my kitchen on clearance. Wish me luck.
I did buy one tree this year new. My granddaughter really wanted a purple tree for her room. After a lot of thought I decided to buy a white tree. I added as much purple as I could so she would be happy. This way if next year she doesn't like purple no worries. I will just change the colors. By the way, she loved it. I actually think it's one of the better trees in my house. It's so much fun.
Next year I think I'll change the bedroom, I think it's starting to get a little boring. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, but I'll figure it out. The way I see it, as I have 12 months to figure it out. And maybe next year I'll figure out how to put a tall tree in the bathroom. Pretty sure Brian won't be happy though. He'll live through it he always does.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This year's New Year's resolution, it just stay on top of this blog. If everything goes well I shall write another blog for New Years.
